Costa Blanca South
Vega Baja, province of Alicante
A&M's main area. The Vega Baja del Segura is the southern part of the province of Alicante, with a large and long-established international community.
Torrevieja
Torrevieja is the largest city in the Vega Baja and the centre of our service area. The city has one of Spain's most international populations, which means virtually every administrative step has been taken here thousands of times — but rarely in your own language.
Orihuela Costa
Orihuela Costa is the coastal strip of the municipality of Orihuela and consists almost entirely of urbanisations. Many residents buy a property here first and arrange their registration and residencia afterwards — exactly the order in which we handle the process.
Ciudad Quesada
Ciudad Quesada administratively belongs to the municipality of Rojales and has one of the largest Dutch and Belgian communities on the Costa Blanca. Many of our clients here come to us through word of mouth.
Guardamar del Segura
Guardamar del Segura lies between Torrevieja and Santa Pola, at the mouth of the Segura river. A municipality with many permanent Dutch and Belgian residents rather than just seasonal visitors.
Santa Pola
Santa Pola forms the northern boundary of our service area. Gran Alacant in particular attracts many Northern European residents who stay year-round.
Pilar de la Horadada
Pilar de la Horadada is the southernmost municipality of the province of Alicante and borders directly on the Murcia region. This makes things practical: some matters are arranged in Alicante, others in Murcia. We keep track of what goes where.
San Fulgencio
San Fulgencio, and especially Urbanización La Marina, has traditionally been one of the most Dutch and Belgian towns in the Vega Baja. Families who have been here for decades live alongside people who have just arrived.
San Miguel de Salinas
San Miguel de Salinas lies on the hills behind Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa. Quieter than the coast, with many British and Northern European residents.
Los Montesinos
Los Montesinos is a small municipality between Torrevieja and Almoradí, with a relatively large share of foreign residents. Small enough that the town hall operates in a straightforward manner.
Algorfa
Algorfa is best known for La Finca Golf, where many foreign owners have a property. Often it starts as a second home and later becomes a permanent residence, with different tax implications.
Benijófar
Benijófar lies on the Segura, next to Ciudad Quesada and Rojales, and has the same international mix as its neighbours. Compact and easily accessible from Torrevieja.
Mar Menor & Costa Cálida
Coastal municipalities, province of Murcia
The municipalities around the Mar Menor, just below the provincial border. Many Northern European residents and second homes.
San Pedro del Pinatar
San Pedro del Pinatar lies just across the provincial border on the northern side of the Mar Menor. For residents here, healthcare, taxes and municipal matters go through Murcia instead of Alicante.
San Javier
San Javier encompasses Santiago de la Ribera on the Mar Menor and part of La Manga. A municipality with many foreign property owners and a growing number of permanent residents.
Los Alcázares
Los Alcázares lies on the western side of the Mar Menor and has a strong international character. Many residents first came as holiday home owners and later decided to stay.
Torre-Pacheco
Torre-Pacheco lies inland from the Mar Menor and contains several golf resorts with many foreign owners, including Mar Menor Golf Resort and Roldán.
La Manga del Mar Menor
La Manga is the narrow strip of land between the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean, administratively divided between Cartagena and San Javier. This division determines which town hall you need to go to — something that regularly causes confusion.
Murcia Region
Murcia and Cartagena
The two major cities of the Murcia region, where the provincial authorities that handle many applications are located.
Cartagena
Cartagena is the second city of the Murcia region and the municipality that covers a large part of the southern Mar Menor. Many provincial offices where applications are processed are located here.
Murcia
Murcia is the capital of the region of the same name. The regional authorities where matters that cannot be handled at municipal level end up are located here.
